The TSL14 is a cost-optimized, highly integrated light-to-voltage optical sensor containing a photodiode and a transimpedance amplifier (feedback resistor =5 MOhms on a single monolithic integrated circuit. The photodiode active area is 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm and the sensor responds to light in the range of 320 nm to 1050 nm. Output voltage is linear with light intensity incident on the sensor over a wide dynamic range.
